What is your favorite brand of automobile wax? Leather cleaner and protector?

For those of you who like detailing your own vehicle ...
And where do you purchase it from? Local retailer? Amazon? Or places that specialize in auto detailing products (Chemical Guys / AutoGeek)?
I prefer a liquid, as I have a Portal Cable orbital buffer I would like to use, but am open to all brand recommendations for exterior wax.

I just bring it to Laquondrick on Washington across from the Islamic Center and say spit shine. I even get a styrofoam plate of grilled chicken, greens and macaroni and cheese that his boi Rogerian makes right there. And then he calls me like 6 hours later and my ride be all like shimmering and shite an smelling like prosperity and goodness. Errybody win.

Don't use a buffer unless you really know what you're doing.
I use the Meguiars clay bar then follow it up with their spray on wax. They have a pretty decent leather balm too.

I am fairly good at waxing and buffing. It's how I ended up with seven children.
And I am pretty handy with the orbital buffer as well. The wax that I used to use is old and not made any more, I think. Can't remember the name off hand but think it is or was a German type of wax.

Wax:
-Meguiars #20 sealant followed by Meguiars #26 carnuba wax
There are lots of great waxes out there so dont sweat it that much.
Leather:
Chemical Brothers leather conditioner works well but the smell is by far the best on the market. Only product I use.

I like Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax and their Yellow Wax #26 from their professional line.
I also like Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. It's a wax that lasts a long time.
I buy most of my stuff from AutoGeek. They always have sales and free shipping going on.
Also, is your Porter Cable an orbital or a dual action?

Orbital only, I believe. Bought it about 7 or 8 years ago.

I'll check when I get back home. I know it is or was the popular one that was recommended by AutoGeek at the time.

Dual action polishers are recommended for beginners because it works well, but it's very difficult to damage your paint with one. And it's not just for beginners... they are great tools for anyone. So that's probably what was recommended.
Orbitals do the work a good bit quicker, but if you aren't experienced with them you can mess up your paint.

Are you polishing as well as waxing? If you're doing paint correction then the dual action will help a lot. If you're just waxing then I'm not sure why you'd spend the money on a dual action.

Smartwax. Stuff is amazing. Same company as chemical guys.
Smart wax yellow is the best wax I've ever used.

Best leather cleaner is effax leder combi and my favorite conditioner is Passier lederbalsam. That needs to be applied in very light coats to soak in.
