When i first heard about lamar jackson at 27, i was reserved about selecting him. However as the weeks have passed, i have started to warm up to the idea of our offense evolving. Think about the possibility of jackson, kamara, and thomas as a 3 headed monster. Anyone else have a change of opinion?

Nope. He is not what they need for the next two years. You cannot pass up a contributor for the final Superbowl run with Brees. You have to get something that makes you better on draft day. Lamar Jackson does not make the Saints better on draft day.

Think about the saints talk evolving without you posting. It would be eutopia.

He won’t be available at 27.

I hope he's not available at 27.

I would rather win five Super Bowls with Lamar Jackson than one more with Drew Brees .. no matter what you to do what’s right for the future

The biggest negative to his game is inaccuracy. Why would ANYONE want an inaccurate QB? You don't get points for almost completing passes and I doubt Payton is overly eager to transition from a guy who is the most accurate passer in NFL history to a guy who struggles in that dept. Want a "running QB"? Draft a running back and stick him at QB.

You sound like a qb guru. Where did you acquire all of this knowledge?

What about that statement isn't just common sense? His career completion percentage is 57%. He struggled against average to good defenses. Running QBs don't last 99% of the time in the NFL. Too much risk.

There is no way he wins 5 Super Bowls. I am not sure any of the QBs in this years draft will win one. . The one who has the best shot is the one who goes to the Giants.

I’m not going off just qb play I’m saying the offensive talent with a veteran OL and young playmakers at rb and wr this team would be dangerous. Ak, Ingram and Jackson would be capable of rushing for 1k yards each that’s a lot tds and when his arm becomes a average nfl arm throwing for 2500-3000 yards that’s a lot of tds

LOuisville wr’s dropped a shite ton of passes and their OL and surrounding talent sucked

In the Wizard Of Oz was it the scarecrow that wanted a brain? Best of luck to Scarecrow Jackson but not in N. O. thank you.

His accuracy improved each season at Louisville and he would have two seasons to work on it with the Saints.

Guys don't usually increase their accuracy when they enter the NFL. But what scares me about Jackson is that he can barely speak English.

Not only no but hell no

Of course they do. That's a skill, obviously you can improve it.
