it’s a dumb rule to ban a natural pain killer in a league that subscribes opioids like skittles.

It’s a dumb rule. I am Not saying you should be able to do whatever you want and ignore an employers dumb rules without repercussion, but an employer making the rule doesn’t make it less dumb.

It doesn't matter if you or I think its dumb. None of that is relevant. What is relevant is a employer has policies and expects its employees to follow it. If you don't like it, find another job

This is real life, we may not like it but it is what it is.

Some of you have issues comprehending it.

Still doesn't matter if pot was legal nation wide, if the employer asks you not to, then you don't

Whether you agree with it or not is not the issue. Rules were in place and he chose to put himself above those. Dude was selfish.

I dont smoke, so I'm truly ok with the rule. But first and foremost...it was a rule in place and he should have followed it....period. Second, Its not a dumb rule, if its illegal in Louisiana. Why would LSU allow illegal activity by rule?

PS - Arden made mistakes. Hopefully he can overcome.

Another fact is that Arden was not 21 when he was smoking therefore making him illegal anyway.

But the issue with Arden is he definitely had a serious problem that caused his family to get involved and the NFL scouts to say that he needs to stop smoking. Its not a dumb rule, especially if an NFL scout will avoid you because you smoke weed. Would you want a pothead on your team, or would you hire someone that has no control over his addiction, with your money on the line? Heck no!!!!!

IT DOESN'T MATTER IF THE RULE IS DUMB.

What matters is this- Key was going to be a top draft pick, and he knew what the rule was.

It doesn't matter if the rule is "sign your name with your left foot on every Tuesday", if that is what you know you have to do in order to become rich, you do it.
