I was following the TM Ac1900 topic closely. Honestly, I think Asus will piss more people off by their stance.

You ended up buying another new Asus router afterwards for example, so who knows how people will react. In the grand scheme, there probably arent too many people out there that are capable and willing to go through the trouble with converting the old ones

i extended mine with my old 56u hardwired like a traditional AP. so far its been nothing short of amazing so the aimesh stuff would have to be really nice to get me to switch.

I was reading up on this as well for a bit but didn’t really want to get into it. I have a TMO Asus I git for free from TMO and want to convert it. Let me know if you do it and maybe post the link you used if it works out alright? TIA
