the difference is that we played Aminu as the 3, they play him along side Dame, CJ, Turner, and Nurkic.

if we had Aminu now, he'd rotate as our 3 big with AD and Niko. but that type of lineup wasn't on our radar at the time

Aminu couldn't shoot the 3 or even catch the ball when he was with us. He was our best rebound and defender though. It's a bummer to see him put together an offensive game after leaving us.

Even though he has a good 3 pt shot now, Chief still cant dribble to save his life lol. Every time he dribbled it yesterday it looked like he was going to dribble of his foot. Reminded me of the old days

Aminu always showed flashes, too bad he could never show consistency with the pelicans.

But now he’s essentially providing the blazers what Hill provides us except at around half the price. Two years ago, I didn’t think Aminu deserved 7 mil a year but he’s done a decent job and looks better than most of the contracts from 16’

On a side note, 16’ free agency was a wash with all the overloaded contracts, so I don’t judge Demps as much for he Hill contract.
