Why? I am not saying the kid is bad, but at this point he was granted a 5th year and is still transferring from Stanford. If he can't start at Stanford next year, why is he going to be of much value here?

I understand it is a depth signing, but you did just waste a recruit that you could sign in next year's class, which is supposed to be loaded on a 1-year 3rd string rental.

I'm lost. If he's playing immediately, and I assume he'll only be here one year, how does this affect a recruit for the next signing class?

I tend to agree with you to a degree IF no one gets hurt THIS year. If they didn't sign Alexander and a CB got hurt, they would be screwed.

So, on its face, I think you are correct. But, if you dig a bit deeper, I think it's a good move. That's my opinion, but guess how many signing classes I've had.

He is a GRADUATE transfer, if eligible he absolutely would start for Stanford next year, wow.
