I mean kind of, but when it starts tracking your calls, messages, texts, photos, videos, audio, locations, browsing history, and timestamps for all of the above, one could be forgiven for thinking perhaps they do more than just capture your likes and posts, not to mention then selling all of that info to the highest bidder.
If the average american figured out they and their digital privacy were the product facebook sells everyday it would collapse overnight. Instead they go on sharing and not caring.
