Spring Break -- people too drunk to notice and will never see them again anyways.

I know a guy with that same name but he's about 20 years older than this guy.

Me too. The name threw me for a second and wondered if he has a Jr.

Because a 40 yr old Joel Kinabrew was with Chad Cameron the night they killed Chris Thorn outside Traditions in 98. I was happy to be friends with Chad and stay on that bunch's good side.

If that's his dad it would make a sense.

Those are 'party packs', the absolutely most profitable/least efficient way for a small fry to redistribute an 8ball. Those are incredibly popular at gay clubs and makes sense to try and make quick $ at crowded Spring Break bars and parties.
They run $20 a pop. His sales goal was likely $400, to profit $200 on each 8ball(costs him ~$150-$250).

FWIW it's also a very easy way to go to jail using such a transaction-heavy business model.

I don't fool with the stuff but I know a lawyer who does a few grams a week. He said ghetto trash stuff is $100/g now. If it comes from white people it's even more.
It was $35-40/g in the early 00's.

Yea I know the prices are wildly different and everyone knew someone 'back in the day' who got them 8balls for $100. Blah blah. That can price double from one day to the next.

Interesting case. Cameron sounded guilty as frick, but waiver of a jury trial is terrible legal advice in that situation.

Indeed. Mrs Kinabrew would get it also.

I am partial to this case but Chad is definitely not deserving of life without parole. He was cracked out of his mind and in the heat of a fight. There is absolutely no chance he would be a repeat offender after spending 20 yrs at Angola. Granted he deserved the time served but not giving him a shot at parole is absurd.

Absurd is a stretch. A guy died. LIfe without parole is hardly absurd. Settle down, Matlock.

These two aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive though
