Just saw on the Twitter that Elio's has KBS. Still waiting for Bloom to hit NOLA shelves.

Beverage Store in BR has cases of BCBS out on the shelf. I haven't seen any Bloom yet though.

I think I will probably pass, I have about 6 bottles of previous vintages in my cellar. I just think it is not what it used to be when compared to other readily available BA stouts.

Yup. Sheffields usually has some older stuff on tap with the new, so I wouldn't mind checking it out.

My local whole foods still has some Bourbon County on the shelves at $11.99. At $8.99 (picture above) I wouldn't be able to stop myself from buying a bunch. I fricking love that beer and will regularly pay more for a bomber of beer I'm just trying or don't like anywhere near as much.

KBS will shelf turd alongside BCBS.

Unless it's 10 years old, KBS and any other high alcohol stout will not usually go bad. It'd actually be a better beer to buy and a better find if you got one that was a few years old.

CBS is an overall better beer but it's way too expensive.

I imagine Chicago got a lot more than more areas

I haven't seen it anywhere here. I had a friend at a store hold me 2 bottles when it released, otherwise, I don't think I would've gotten it.

Just saw KBS at Whole Foods in Lafayette.

Also grabbed the last You, Me, and Everyone We Know, which is probably my favorite beer that I've had this year.

Think it was around $20 at Elios today. Not worth it IMO

I guess I just look at it as, I have no problem spending $5/beer if I'm at a bar, so why would I care if it's that much in a store

$20 isn’t bad for a 4 pack of a BA stout considering most are doing away with the format (looking at you BCBS). I did think $24 was steep though...

same here. I guess I'm also ok with it b/c BA stouts/porters are my favorite style so I'm kinda used to these price tags. Also, taking a 4 pk home lets me cellar some of it and watch it develop over time

I always assumed I was paying extra for the privilege of pissing on their bathroom floor.
