KG in 12 years in Minnesota never missed more than 6 games in a season

Kareem missed 80 games in 20 years

Even a guy like Barkley who was never considered an iron man. In his first 12 years played an average of 74 games per season

Which leads me to in the last 18 drafts (since 2000) how many HOF big men are there? Pau and Dwight that's it and both are towards the very bottom of HOFers

From what I know KAT is durable and a absolute baller. If guys like AD, KAT, Freak maintain their level of play and don’t suffer freak long term injuries they’ll be HOF locks.

Hell even KD is about 7 feet, there are plenty of great big men still lol.

KD and Giannis are not bigs.

Davis is a HOF talent and not bottom tier like Pau and Dwight but durability is a HUGE ?.

I can't tell how good Towns is yet. Hope Thibs stays there I think without him Towns is a high risk to get lazy and become a spot up shooter. He's already to comfortable standing around on the 3 point line.

is he really an All Star NBA big? He was in the game this year as a replacement and made it legit 2 years ago

I mean, there is little reason to say that you "can't tell how good Towns is yet." He is one of the most-efficient players in the NBA. He's an All-Star, and a durable one at that.

Porzingis also has HOF potential despite getting hurt this year

If you’re defining “bigs” as “back to the basket post players” then it will take a big shift in the game back to the way it was. Towns is a HOF talent, he’s not going to morph into a catch and shoot player only for some reason. He’s 22 and only getting better

He is if he maintains. 15 points, 16 rebs, and a couple blocks is pretty legit especially with his FTs over 60%. His steal numbers are good for a big and his assist numbers are up even. At 24 he’s definitely got a shot to be in the all star game for the next 10 years. He also has a chance to start getting injured and not be durable.

Thibs will run him into the ground like every other player he's ever had imo

Big simply means guys who's primary position is PF or C.

I agree about Porzingas talent IMO possibly even better than Davis. But he's not durable. Even before the big injury this year he missed 26 games his first 2 years.
