Hear me out before the downvotes and the “don’t want that locker room trash here” and “he’s drama and too much attention seeking”

Pair OBJ opposite of Michael Thomas and set offensive records. Drew Brees knows OBJ and he’s from NOLA, so a return to home roots and out of the spotlight of New York may be just what the Dr. ordered. Use 3rd round on one of those TE’s I’m afraid we are going to waste our 1st pick on

I understand the price of having OBJ, and we probably couldn’t afford it, but it’s nice to dream seeing him in a black and gold 13 jersey

Also in before “no LSU players”

Bingo. Paying him and Thomas in a year or so would be impossible

Wants a QB contract
Was seen recently with cocaine
Is a confirmed locker room problem
Would cost a 1st

Am I missing something?

Giants would laugh in our fricking face if we offered that. That’s fricking absurd.

First of all they wouldn’t trade him to us for just those two picks.

Second of all I don’t think we can afford him at all.

So trade a Kings ransom, pay the guy the highest wr contract in history, and bring in a locker room diva at a position that it has been pretty much proven super bowl contending teams virtually never overpay for....who also happens to be coming off a major injury....

Fantastic way to torpedo a rapidly ascending roster who has just found its way out of cap hell.

Yeah we have a guy who wears that number. He also happens to be fricking awesome.

This shite is going to be worse than all the Landry bullshite.

It's idiotic to tie up so much of the cap in a position that isn't a QB, LT, or DE. Aside from Thomas, we are eventually going to have to pay Kamara and Lattimore top dollar as well.

Then assuming we can't find a suitable replacement for Drew in the draft, you would then be talking about having to go after a veteran and we have all seen the contracts Kirk Cousins and Jimmy G were given.

I think people here are overestimating how much the Giants will get for OBJ. The front office/owner seem to be tired of him, he's coming off of a serious injury, he's threatening to hold out if not given an extension, he's on the final year of his deal, and the Giants aren't winning shite this season whether they have him or not.

But with our focusing heavily on the run game, I don't think it's worth shelling out big bucks + picks for a FA WR. Plus we have a pretty solid history drafting skill position players.
