Now this could become interesting when it reaches the higher courts. It seems as if Orange County is the Ground Zero in the sanctuary city battle:

I suspect a lot of actual legal citizens of California reject the idea of sanctuary status. It just took one town to stand up and more will follow.

So the cities that reject the policy of allowing illegal immigrants to stay in their city will be sued by the state? There's no way that can hold up in court.

This should be RA'd or anchored for misleading title.

Sanctuary laws protect illegal immigrants, not immigrants. Legal immigrants are protected by the constitution.
