My wife said I could have one but not both.
It is AND, not OR. If she can't get it right, find someone who can.
If you participated in Valentine's day then she should participate in her special day too. That way, everybody gets a trophy.

We celebrate pi day in my house.
I pick up a lemon meringue pie on the way home and we sit around doing geometry all night. I know what you're thinking. What acute tradition.

I've grown accustomed to the disappointment of this day after 15+ years of marriage. 99% chance a disagreement over something ridiculous will be fabricated within 20 minutes of me getting home followed by "well that just ruined my plan" comment (excuse).

Sounds like this is what you want. You could do something different like being cheerful and not disagreeable.
I'm not judging. I need this advice for myself in many things.

My wife actually thought yesterday was the 14th. She was like sorry we didn't have steak for dinner, but... Guess she was looking forward to it to the point where she dated a bunch of stuff 3/14.
Feel bad for all these guys that never get any in their marriages.

I've only been married 3 years, but my experience is not similar to the bitter baws that post here. My wife and I actually like each other and we share common interests and values. Marriage is pretty awesome.

If you go into it with expectations that things that were issues in dating will be fixed by marriage.
I'd bet most guys who complain about not having sex probably have gained 50 pounds since the wedding. Maybe the wife has too. You can't expect to be attractive to you spouse if you let yourself go in a disgusting manner.
