Couldn't agree more, unless Cousins is WAY better than I think he is.

And I'm not down on him at all.

Nah, the Vikings are in a window of contention, and Spielman has fricking crushed it with cap space and locking up guys early. They have so much space (at least prior to this move). Only Diggs, Barr, and Kendricks are up for FA after 2018.

This is the right move. They have a chance to win it all. When you have that opportunity, you push your chips in.

I'd take Keenum at 2/$36mil over Cousins and 3/$84mil if I were the Vikings.
