I think I will bring it up bc it is most certainly interfering with my quality of life.
And yes! The roller coaster analogy is spot on.
Oh and I used to love roller coasters, but there isn't enough money in the world to get me on one now. Both feet on terra firma - there's no other way LOL

Bro, i have never been afraid of heights either. When I am awake I am absolutely not terrified of heights whether flying or atop a skyscraper
But, when I dream? Ahhh, hell it is a different story entirely. I am always flying way too high in the armosphere and sometimes into space and I AM SCARED SHITLESS. I dont look down and I begin to ponder the vastness of space and time. Everywhwre I look there is no end. Too much for my mind to process and then I wake up sweating.
You arent alone.

In FL they call them "Palmetto bugs" (don't try and class it up) but in 3+ years, I haven't seen one. No oak trees and concrete homes maybe, thank god.
I did my time in Florida too. I almost died when they said a roach was a"palmetto bug".
No, that is a biggass flying roach.

I couldn't do it because of the damn traffic. I guess I've developed trafficaphobia later in life
Interstate traffic doesn't bother me... But for some reason.. I hate hwy 1 traffic.. For some reason, it makes me frustrated.

My best friend has developed a fear of crossing bridges at 40 years old. Breaks out into cold sweats and hyperventilating. It's pretty funny actually.

It's good where I am Ms. Kittie. I once said cockroach as a kid and my dad yelled at me. I think it was the "cock" part...

I was a Paratrooper... I NEVER had a problem with heights or anything else for that matter. I find as I get older, stuff I wouldn't have given a second thought I don't really care for. Heights is one of those things. If I get up on a high extension ladder it makes me wary.

I was never chlostrophobic until I had to have an MRI. I made it about 30 seconds and had to get out. Now if I have to have one, I need Valium and an Open machine. frick that shite.

How was tge side effects of the meds? I was prescribed same meds today due to anxiety. I have no idea what triggered it so im kinda lost. Can I still drink on this shite?

Drinking didn’t seem to make a difference on Lexapro. The biggest issue is that you will find it’s impossible to have an orgasm for awhile. That eventually gets a little better, but yeah. At least you won’t care because you’ll otherwise feel great
Seriously, I felt preternaturally happy on Lexapro. I’d be in situations where I knew I *should* feel sad or worried or whatever, but I just felt...calm. And happy.

Check your body for any new growths, sounds like you may be developing a pussy.

10-4. Did it make u tired during the day?
A good bj will take care of the orgasm.

I recently had to have one too. Told my doc that I wasn't claustrophobic, but when I got in, everything changed. I couldn't even do it WITH valium!

Fear of bridges hit me around age 40. It was very sudden, and I have no explanation for why.

It did at first. I also had trouble swallowing (Tess). It nearly made me choke a few times.
Expect the BJs to take an hour. You’ll enjoy it, but find it impossible to get over the edge. It’s frustrating, but eventually gets better.

I'm not sure, but to me, it's normal. I developed a debilitating fear of driving within the last 3 years. I'm not sure what caused it but it's very real.
Luckily, I now live in a place with amazing public transportation and I don't even have a car, but the thought of driving one gives me anxiety.

Bridges get me. Anytime I'm in the Bay Area of California, I shite bricks on the Golden Gate, Bay, and Richmond. I fear that a big arse earthquake will strike while I'm on it. Also, the GNO in Nola gets me.
I hate airplanes and turbulence as I get older.

i wonder if it a vertigo issue. You may have been fine before but age gets to everyone and maybe it is something to do with vertigo.
ETA: Vertigo as the medical condition of vertigo- not the common but incorrect usage of vertigo to mean a fear of heights.
Certainly Inner Ear at least needs to be evaluated
