How is Fat Boy explaining this to his people?

How will Lil' Fatty go about this without coming across as weak to the NK rank and file? How will he make lemonade out of lemons? That's why I think there's a bullshite element to the deal - just like all the other head fakes by his old man. Crawfishing imminent.
I hope Trump steps on his fat neck, but expect the little bastard to make waves along the way. Acorns don't fall far from the tree.

Well the thing is, they aren't just going to denuclearize without getting something in return.
If the deal is something that works out better for the people of North Korea (and there is no reason to think that it wouldn't) then what do they really have to complain about?

There should be zero excitement about this. He is gunning for an Iran Deal. He wants cash to pretend to stop his weapons plan. Just like his Daddy got from Bill Clinton. Hell, we essentially helped them build their nukes with money to stop building nukes.

If rocket man is smart, he would play it off, to his citizens, as Trump bending the knee.

Kim will spin it either way:
1. Trump accepts = Kim has the power to make a leader answer to his invite
2. Trump declined = Trump is too weak to talk face to face and the American president talks big on Twitter but won't man up in person.

The people there are brainwashed to believe anything printed or broadcast on state media. It will be as simple as showing video of them shaking hands and saying "Trump personally begs for assistance from Dear Leader for food and technology. In is infinite wisdom and compassion, Dear Leader will help the United States."
No need to mention tossing out the nukes. All they have to do is replay old footage of missile launches and the people will believe it happened.

Trump needs to agree to meet only in North Korea and he flys in on Air Force One right into the capital for the world to see. With the threat of nuclear annihilation if anything goes wrong. Then he lays down the law face to face with Rocket Man, gets on the plane and heads home.

explain what? that he is meeting with the most powerful man in the world? I don't think it needs explaining, as he looks incredibly powerful in this situation.

Fat Kim will simply tell his people that he's so powerful, he was able to force the evil US president to sit down with him.
He will them tell his people that because of their great nuclear strength, he was able to force Trump to give them money in exchange for not using the nukes.
Fat Kim will still be a dictator running a ruthless regime, but he will give out some crumbs so that his people can at least somewhat not starve to death.
Fat Kim knows that he could never take down the US or South Korea... but he also knows that nukes would give him a seat at the table in which to coerce the US for money. He's got that now.
NK will simply rise from the most desolate hell-hole on earth, to simply a poor third world dictatorship. He will also probably get his wish of normalized relations with the US and more importantly South Korea. There will never be reunification, but we regularly trade and have diplomatic relations with all sorts of dictators.
