What cartoons took up most of your time in the 80s? For me it was most of these, usually consumed with a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Mr T cereal

Muppet Babies
GI Joe
He Man
Pro Stars- underrated
Transformers
Beetlejuice
Ghostbusters
Back to the Future
Voltron
Smurfs
Thundercats

Can't remember if the USA Cartoon Express was 80s or 90s, but me and my sister watched that every morning. Jabber Jaw and Inch High Private Eye were my favs.

The other obvious ones are Looney Toons and Tom % Jerry of course.

It was basically just He-Man after school, Spider-Man, Inspector Gadget and Scooby-Doo.

If you played hookey it was Tom and Jerry and the Jetsons and Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Saturday mornings were the Smurfs, Voltron, Transformers, The Littles and School House Rock and a big bowl of Frosted Flakes.

I didn't grow up in the 80's, but my oldest brother did and made sure to share those shows with me as a kid.

So many great choices. Muppet Babies and Transformers were my favorites, but I also enjoyed GI Joe and Thundercats a lot too.

For me, though, there were also several 90's shows that I absolutely loved:
Ninja Turtles
Power Rangers
Beast Wars
Dexter's Lab
X-Men
Animaniacs
Rugrats
Pinky & the Brain
Spiderman: The Animated Series
Ed, Edd, & Eddy
Dragon Ball Z
Gundam Wing (way better than Voltron)

Is probably the biggest 80's cartoon. Everyone talked about it. Even more than GI Joe or Transformers.

Toys and action figures were sold like crazy.
