And yet Fairfax, Falls Church, and Loudoun are the top three counties. With Arlington County also in the top 10.

We have a ton of tech in NOVA as well. It is a great place to do business. Government, military and private sector are all heavily represented.

Most of those government related jobs are tech jobs

I'm aware. My sister lived in McLean and I spent a good bit of time there working the DMV.

I am very surprised Houston, being the 4th biggest city, and the home of big oil, didnt have a neighborhood listed

??? It had 2. I am a bit surprised The Woodlands isn’t there. But Highland Park and Denton are basically the same place, not surprised at all. That place is a bit too swanky for me, lol.

The article is written poorly. If it were neighborhoods, there'd be more in Dallas too. But it's just cities and both park cities are there.

If it was neighborhoods it would be dominated by a few areas. Now you'd bring Upperville, Aldie and Middleburg, VA into the conversation along with other areas of NOVA.
The towns I listed have old, old money in them.

It'd be hard to tease out that data. You might be able to do it by zip code or something, but neighborhood definitions can get blurry. Separating Greenwich Village from Chelsea in Manhattan (to name two neighborhoods that would almost certainly be on any sort of list) or separating out the Upper East Side or something would be almost impossible.

Median income is usually used. List may be skewed in places due to a couple of Bill Gates types.
