Probably have a spin and/or dynamic loft issue. If your swing speed hasn’t changed and neither has the equipment or the ball, it has to be impact conditions. Go see someone with a GC2, Trackman, or Flightscope. I can have 10 mph less clubhead speed than someone and hit it 20 yards past them if my spin is optimal and theirs is shite.

Well, after much research, and very little help from some of you, I decided to purchase a box of Volvik VividXT balls. Anybody have any luck with these?

Anyways, I’ve been searching for a solid golf ball. I’ve played mostly with ProV1’s, but I’m just not feeling it anymore. My swing speed averages in the 123-126mph range as I’ve tested this multiple times the past few years.

Eta: ok, I just looked through this thread and saw where someone at least vouched for you.

If you're swinging that hard and you're losing distance then it is not the golf ball. I would look into getting lessons so you can get your swing path and release point better so you can take full advantage of what you are capable of doing with the speed you're able to generate.

Return them. They are fricking trash. Seriously, not trolling. Throw them in the garbage.

Try the Bridgestone and the new Snells are coming out soon.

Balls are not your problem. Wait, did someone say that already?

Your head is cracked. Did the same thing with my Cleveland launcher.

The new Snells are out. The red go higher and spin more with wedges. The blacks are the same as before but slightly lower compression for more distance off the tee. If you liked the MTB, I’d stick with the black. The reds are fine (I’ve already tested them) but they’re a little glossier and clicky.

Did you make sure to pick up a new hat clip ball marker so you'll have something to make conversation about with the other ladies playing that ball?

I thought these were supposed to be a cheaper alternative to the big brands? $31.99 + shipping for a dozen?

That's cheaper and there is a free shipping option[ SmartPost (2-10 business days)] You get a bigger discount if you order 6. $27.33 per.

Pro-V1s are $47.99

I just bought 3 dozen of last years B-stone's for $30 a dozen. That should last me dang near all year where I play. 27.33 aint bad, but I just don't need 6 dozen.

That used to be my plan when I played a lot. Between not playing as much, and hitting driver straight, I end up retiring balls instead of losing them. I don't mind paying full for Pro-Vs. The newest ones are amazing. I do like the Snells though, and if I were a member somewhere I'd do the 6 dozen thing and retire them sooner.

All I know about golf balls, that is not readily known, is that low compression balls go straighter.
