And raise the driving age to 21 as well.

Top five leading causes of death for 18 to 20 year olds are vehicle accidents, suicide, gun related homicides, drugs and alcohol.

I am fairly sure the gun homicides are carried out by handguns though I do not live in inner city neighborhoods. Guess it is possible they all carry assault rifles in their trousers.

So why are we focusing on assault looking rifles?

I know that they can do business as they see fit but does this open them up to lawsuits??

Age discrimination applies to employment, not purchasing goods or services, and also only protects people over the age of 40.

So no, no lawyer is going to be taking that case.

You can still do that from the trunk of your dealer’s car.

I’m not for this. However I think there needs to be a German style education and licensing system.

Unless he's being prevented from going to the fricking polls or joining the military, tough shite. Age discrimination actually more applies to people over 40 than anyone else. I can't sue Hertz because they won't let an 18 year old rent a car despite having a license.

Age discrimination on applies to folks 40 and over. 18-20 year olds aren't a protected class.

Renting a car isn't a right.
Neither is buying a cake but the government surely sided with the queers on that one didn't they? Either you can discriminate based on whatever you want or you can't but you can't pick and choose.

You should be grandfathered in if you are under 18 and in the military

That's actually completely false. You can discriminate for what we reason you choose OTHER than protected classes. You can't discriminate based on sexual orientation, so the bakers lost. You can discriminate by age, as long as it isn't the elderly, which is defined as older than 39 for whatever reason.

Neither is BUYING a gun. Having a gun is a right. I can refuse to serve anyone for any reason aside from being a protected class. Guess what: 18 year olds are not a protected class. 40 year olds and older are.

Using this logic against the facts of the cake case, an 18 year old gay kid that gets denied the purchase of a gun at Walmart should win that law suit.
