He paid too much to open a restaurant in a shite location that lacked visibility and failed to get the word out.

How many of you seriously knew that this place made a transition from bar to a restaurant?

The other time we got there around 7 to 7:30 and had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table. There were a lot of college kids and a lot of couples with young children.

I was excited to try the place out until the Manager fired Mermaid for being a little insubordinate bitch. Now I haven't been yet.

What should we get? I like calzones and most pizza and breadstick thingies.

ETA: For real though, I got pizza once and a pasta dish once. The pasta was good, but the pizza was better.

Yep. It wasn't the customer that made the decision to open at that particular address, which used to be chain Italian restaurant.

He could have picked a smaller (and more affordable) location in mid city, Perkins overpass area, LSU area, or downtown, but he didn't. He could have actually listened to customer feedback, but apparently he thought he was above that.

After all, the customer should just like what they are served. It's always their fault. Every successful business knows that, right?

I had no clue until the chef won some award for his cooking. That was what? 6 months ago? I see it passing by on the interstate, but I was never really drawn to it. And I never hear about it. Ever.

Seriously? Another pizza place? So that’s Lit, Rocca’s, Domino’s, Little Caesar’s, Pizza Hut and Fleur de Lis on one road. That’s 6 pizza places. Can we got some variety?

The fact that they didn't change their name after transitioning to a restaurant is a testament to their bidness ignorance.

Also a couple of Chinese joints between Foster and Jefferson, but neither are as good as the one on Acadian across from BR General.

What's the story on the beer garden that was supposedly opening near Foster?
