Now, a war hammer or my wife’s vibrator.

I have to admit that was funny...

Another poster said a shot gun is better. Why do you think it's not?

AR15 offers higher capacity, lower recoil, extremely lethal ammo, and less penetration through walls than a shotgun. It is easier to reload and easier to shoot too.

12 gauge. Nothing is louder or more effective at close range

I own several guns but none of them are for self defense. I consider a self defense gun 1 that's easily accessible and always loaded. I have young children so no mater how much I train them and teach gun safety I just don't trust that situation

I'm glad my parents trusted me much more than you trust your kids. I knew where the guns were from a young age. My parents taught me not to be a dumbass that plays with real guns.

Just me and some buds were sitting on this when a wakeboarding boat flew by and dumped us all over. Wouldn't have been a big deal, but we had chosen that time to have ALL of our guns out cleaning them. Tragic. 60 feet of water.

I like your style. 1,1,-45,1,1

As to the OP, though, if I can't get to my howitzer, then I use a katana and throwing stars, because I'm a ninja, you know.

Any and all could be used for self defense but some are better than others. A couple of pistols and my recently purchased AR 15 would be the primary go to.

Still in good condition? I'd love to see a picture of it. I've got a hard on for historical weapons.

Yeah, that one argument is tenuous as best. It really, really depends on the ammunition you are using in each platform. There are situations where each platform shows greater over penetration than the other.

I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying that when making that statement, you need to be very specific in what you are talking about lest uneducated people become confused.

I’ve got a moat with a bunch of frickin sharks with frickin laser beams attached to their frickin heads around the outside of my house. If you get in, and are a foe, I’ve got a trap door with pungee sticks at the bottom with human shite on the top of em.

Good luck.
