This is not a revelation.
President Trump has a large ego.
In terms of serving as President, that’s irrelevant to me.
Prepare yourself, as I think it’s safe to say this isn’t the last cocky comment you’ll ever hear him make.

I think y’all should whine about Trump minutia daily - what a great look for you!

What small petty people with apparently nothing useful to do

You are right. Someone should definitely start more threads about 3 people saying mean things on Twitter.

Im sure that once you get in that situation things change but every red blooded American male who isn’t an embarrassment to their parents would say that and 90%believe it. Things change when the bullets start flying but I have no problem with him saying it. Isn’t there a coach who made himself a human shield? I like to believe that I would be so brave and every male should. Unfortunately betas have permeated society

Not offended at all. Just find it funny that you can critique him when you haven’t even contemplated what you would do?

Given Trump's past avoidance of serving on the front lines, he probably should have just left this line unsaid. Even if he believes it.

To be fair going to fight in a foreign land against people you haven’t met in the name of “freedom” when you are 18 is a little different than being a parent and seeing unarmed kids being ripped to shreds by bullets.

I’ve contemplated it plenty of times. What I think I would do is meaningless.

Nobody can say what they'd do in a situation they've never been in. That said, I feel like I'd run in with kids at risk like that.

I can see this happening. Remember during the campaign when that idiot tried to get to him and instead of running away, he was cut off by his security detail from confronting what ever was going down? I can’t remember if this was the gun incident or not, I just remember his reaction standing out.

Edit: I’m pretty sure it was when the Bernie supporter tried to rush the stage.

Why do you say this?

There's a fair chance at least one or two teachers ran in.

Now, would he really? I dunno. We all like to think we'd be the hero, not the zero. But, people do it.
