Darren Rovell
?
@darrenrovell
If Sean Miller is found to have violated NCAA rules, not only would he lose his job, but, per his contract, he’d have to pay Arizona up to $300,000 in damages related to the case

I think it's a little more than that

And even if it is, it's still a funny situation

Welp time to ban Arizona basketball and rebrand them as “collegiate athletes from Arizona”

Why is the FBI wasting resources? I’m sure because there is massive amounts of money exchanging hands essentially for labor that is not being taxed. It would be tax fraud and bribery apparently.

I don’t give a shite if players get paid, but if they are going to make that 100k to play at a school they need to pay their fricking taxes like the rest of us.

This is probably a good thing. Gotta be tough for Ayton to focus when he knows his future team is playing NBA games two hours down the road.

Now this is some news.

Not Tony Bradley Sr. eating 30 dollars worth of pizza at a restaurant or Wendell Carter’s Mom getting a free lunch at Longhorn Steakhouse.

Sean apparently never attended a Rick Pitino seminar on plausible deniability.

Arizona gonna get banned from the tournament this year?

Yes, but the players will be allowed to play in the NCAA Tournament as “Student-Athletes From Arizona.”

The NCAA will follow the precedent set by the IOC.

Every other program involved is rejoicing.

"Yeah, we missed this happening in our program, but hey, look at what Sean Miller did. We didn't do anything like that."
