I seen it lol. Late supper, so I was leaving to get food. Typically if it's leaving from BR they typically havnt hit altitude by time they get to St. Amant. This one was even lower than regular, it was more triangular than I thought it should be, so I did think military at first. But then I don't see under planes at night flying so close to the ground. So I didn't give it a second thought in till I seen the thread.

it's probably preparing for an air show or just training, especially if there's a base within 50 miles of you. They're usually stationed in North Carolina or West Coast.

How did you see all a triangular shaped object flying low to the ground in St. Amant and not give it a second thought? Does St. Amant often have top secret technology bombers making low altitude runs flying over?

1. It was moving very slow. It should have fallen out of the sky at that speed.

2. Unlike OP wife's account this one was very loud. VERY loud like F-15 doing a straight up run or Harrier hovering.
Ah, slow and loud. Did it look like this?

Saw it also, but to dark and cloudy to make out the details. I assumed it was military.

Two of my friends and I saw this same aircraft Super Bowl Sunday while drinking a beer on the back porch. Its exactly like others have posted: Large, low flying, zero sound and flying so slow it seemed to hover. I just assumed the baws in Belle Chase or Barksdale were getting in some flight time.

I met a B-2 Spirit crew a bit over a year ago, while they (and my wife and I) were touring a "float prep building" for the Tournament of Roses Parade. Some things I found out:

1) the only US base is Whiteman AFB in Missouri. I had heard there was one in South Korea, but I think that is incorrect. Also maybe 1-2 are at Edwards in California.

2) almost all sorties originate in Missouri, blow shite up halfway around the world, then return back to Missouri

3) when they do a Rose Bowl Parade flyover, they make that run, then fly around (I guess they tour the coast for a few hours), then they make their way back to Pasadena for the National Anthem at the Rose Bowl ( B2 Stealth Flyover at 2017 Rose Bowl). They do NOT go land at Edwards between the flyovers.

4) I assume the crew I met had landed at Edwards the day before** the flyovers and toured the "float prep buildings" with a contingent from EAFB.

5) they did not mention any sorties at 300 feet over St. Amant

6) they don't throw nuthin at the Rose Parade

** I am assuming a few things here, and elsewhere in my post - I might have an error or two

Stealth bombers don't typically fly at night There's a reason they're painted black.

Aren't they painted black because they DO primarily fly at night? It seems like if they were daylight bombers, that black paint would make them easier to spot. If you're spending a fortune on minimizing your radar return, why would you want to make easier to be visually seen?

See if she can pick the plane out from this website. I wanted to post the Jane's website, but it has apparently been removed. It was an easier one to identify aircraft from.

How long she been using? Cause she crazy if she told you that and you even crazier for buying that bullshite. Total darkness at that time of night and no military plane will be flying over residential areas at a little over 300 feet.
Ya'll both stupid!
