We should just let the military come in and teach the kids. All teachers will all be military personnel and we'll have an assault rifle nearby at all times. After all, an education is not as important as weapons

Yeah I can't keep up with the left's position on this:

Then (two weeks ago):

- Cops are bad and racist and systemically kill citizens because of the color of their skin.

- Military veterans should be tracked on watch lists as potential right-wing homegrown terror threats.

Now:

- Cops are the only people we can trust with guns to protect anyone.

- Ex-military should work as school guards.

Government in its inception upon mankind has never been about protecting, but governing.

Protection of my well being on a large scale through war with a foreign invader, yes, but personal protection at home not even remotely close.

Government is excellent at taking lives, but sucks horribly at protecting anyone. That isnt how men were designed. Yes, I believe in God and it seems apparent in nature that man is to protect his family first and not count on government. It is lunacy.

I might add that if I cant count on a cop to sacrifice his life in the line of fire to protect what is most precious to me (my children) than why even bother sending my kids to a government ran institution? Why am I wasting tax dollars while they cower on the job?
