But this is not what's happening. What's happening is there are folks who want to keep a certain type of rifle out of the hands over everybody. This lunatic could have been stopped (had LE done their job) without restricting a sane person's access to firearms. He's not the first and he won't be the last to do something terrible like this.

They are not taking action though.
They are just screaming at people who disagree with them and calling for guns to be banned.

There were some teens from that school being proactive towards a solution. Yesterday at the White House, meeting with people who actually get things done, listening to parents who lost children in shootings in Columbine, Sandy Hook, and DC schools who have implemented programs that have made a real impact and saved lives.
