94% of women in Hollywood say they've experienced sexual harassment or assault

Good Lord, Hollyweird, the most strident Leftist enclave in America, is a virtual cesspool of misogyny, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and the overall debasement of women.
Yeah, Lefties, keep preaching to us about how to treat women.

The first number you see is 94% — and your eyes pop with incredulity.
But it's true: Almost every one of hundreds of women questioned in an exclusive survey by USA TODAY say they have experienced some form of sexual harassment or assault during their careers in Hollywood.
For months now we've all been hearing the horrifying stories of abuse from marquée names like Rose McGowan and Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashley Judd and Salma Hayek, about what powerful men in Hollywood, like movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, allegedly did to them and other women over decades.
Unwanted sexual comments and groping. Propositioning women. Exposing themselves. Coercing women into having sex or doing something sexual. And, especially pertinent to showbiz, forcing women to disrobe and appear naked at an audition without prior warning.
It's been deeply disturbing reading, but so far the powerful stories of accusers outnumber plain, hard facts about the extent of the problem in Tinseltown. Until now.
Working in partnership with the Creative Coalition, Women in Film and Television and the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, USA TODAY surveyed 843 women who work in the entertainment industry in a variety of roles (producers, actors, writers, directors, editors and others) and asked them about their experiences with sexual misconduct.
The results are sobering: Nearly all of the women who responded to the survey (94%) said they have experienced some form of harassment or assault, often by an older individual in a position of power over the accuser.
Worse, more than one-fifth of respondents (21%) say they have been forced to do something sexual at least once.

Of course they have. It's Hollywood. Probably 94% of men, too. It's a cesspool of people willing to do anything and everything to be famous.

The fact that they're lumping in someone saying "your arse looks nice in those jeans" with forced rape at knife point is disgusting.

This is what a "war on women" in a developed country like America really looks like.
This is just another form of projection by our sick friends on the left and their media.

These are the people who gave Roman Polanski a standing ovation.
The Roman Polanski who drugged a 13 year old girl and had anal sex with her.

USA Today: "Have you ever been sexually assaulted or harassed?"
Woman: "Not really, no"
USA Today: "Has a guy you're not interested in ever made a pass at you?"
Woman: "Of course"
USA Today: "Putting you down as a 'yes'"

The hilarious part is that Hollywood has lectured us for decades about how flyover states need to be as progressive as Hollywood, but now they're willingly calling their utopia a cesspool

I would think most attractive females have had unwanted sexual comments...

That sounds like the infamous "1 in 5" survey that spawned the "rape culture on campus" bullshite

Is this a good spot for Lee Begley jokes?

If one submits themselves to the process of sleeping their way to a role and stardom, is it really assault or harassment, or is it them wanting to be absolved of their own flawed choices by blaming it on others?

Hollywood has had a casting couch issue since the industry started. Everyone knows the deal going in

What does the number look like when you take out the women harassed by Al Franken?
Also, not directed at the OP, we need to stop aggregating harassment claims with assault claims. While third wave feminists want to equate them as JUST AS BAD, they aren't the same.

Not sure how the percentage is that high considering Hollywood is loaded with Homosexuals in positions of power.

How many stayed for the second time. Second time and all after are on them.

To be honest, I don't doubt this. There is a rape culture in the United States, and it is in Hollywood, not college campuses.

Gwyneth Paltrow had to frick Harvey Weinstein despite being Hollywood Royalty. They're going to run into these guys if they really want a part.
