How do you pull forward and do that? I guess you could refuse to pull forward in the first place, but they're just going to dip their balls in your red beans if you do that.

I'm partial to the blackened ranch. It goes well with spicy tenders or fries.

That's too much clean up. A quick hep C spit does the same job, and it's easier to hide.

They always skip out on the sauce. I have to double check the food before I leave.

Wait for the prompts if you start getting interrupted.

You up your odds of getting the right order when you recognize the order taker needs you to slow up some. Just know they're going to ask you all the questions at that point. Answer em. Get your pussy mild chicken and enjoy.

So if they do this every time, couldn’t you just order in a way that allows them to do that without trying to continue your order through their questions?

Me: I’d like a #7.
a-hole: spicy or mild?
Me: Mild
a-hole: what kind of side?
Me: Fries
a-hole: what drink?
Me: Coke
a-hole: drive ‘round fo your total

I left off the BBQ sauce part because they’re going to try to frick you out of it anyway they can.

I have a job. I'll pay the extra 29 cents a pack to get all the sauce I want.

Blackened ranch, Mardi Gras Mustard, and BBQ, FTMFW.

Huh, I thought that this only happened at my local Popeyes.

I stated "ya know what, this is fricking ridiculous" and drove off after experiencing this a couple of months ago.

Redstone Arsenal Burger King is the same exact way...so my response to them when they keep interrupting...I just keep starting over.

After about the 3rd time the "a-hole" told me I don't have to keep starting over...to which I responded, "Don't interrupt and I won't start over". Yeah...I'm that guy.

I hate when they continue to interrupt you.

Or the other option is to rapid fire your order...but you better check it first...because the "assholes" probably got it wrong. And in that case...sit at the window and check the order...it throws off their statistics for order times.

I don't disagree with you, but unfortunately that's a good way to get your food fricked with. And Burger King always consistently has the worst service IMO. I stopped at the one on Staring a couple weeks ago...first time I had been in years bc the service was so bad. And everybody in there was really nice and polite. The kids working there were yes sir and no ma'am and everything. I called the manager over and congratulated her on accomplishing that, and thanked her for having her staff so well-trained. She was pretty happy that I had done that, and seemed proud of her people. It was cool.

Popeye's is annoying sometimes, but the two closest around me, the people are SUPER nice there. Like incredibly nice older ladies.

Seriously, I had a conversation about this years ago with someone. They must use cheaper drive thru equipment or something because there has to be a longer delay when you make your order because it seems like this happens a lot.

Them: Welcome to Popeye, may I take yo order?

Me: I would like.

Them: Go ahead with your order.

Them: What was that?

Me: Two piece dark, spicy with mash potatoes.

Them: What kind of side you want?

Me: Mash po.....

Them: Spicy or mild?

One of my biggest pet peeves about fast food ordering at most places. Training is horrible and they have a script and checklist they want to follow - makes it very impersonal and aggravating. If it was just conversational that'd be great.

Subway is like this too - which is where I usually go when I pick something up. Not a lot of options in my work area and this is the best I can find.

Except it ignores the fact that it is a service industry--not that Popeyes cares. They would win the Franchise Wars if they cared just a little bit about not being run like a Banana Republic.
