Did anyone else find Notre Dame's helmets to be distracting?

Pitchers aren't allowed to wear shiny jewelry but notre dame can get away with wearing those helmets? Kind of ridiculous.

Their helmets seemed to blind the home plate umpire when it came to calling balls and strikes when ND was batting.

Did I blame the losses on this?

Your reading comprehension is amazing.

That is why we got our asses kicked. If Maineri had any sense he would get us some shiny gold helmets.

Let us hope they distracted our hitters and pitchers.

I hated them. No way that wasn’t distracting for the pitchers

Actually I did kind of wonder about that...whether there was a rule against shiny helmets. Obviously not. If it will help us win let's get some shiny gold ones

We are in more trouble than I thought if we are worried about shinny batting helmets the opponents are wearing.

I agree. They actually hurt your eyes especially during the night game. I wondered how they were allowed to wear these because they are certainly distracting.

Any one making some idiotic reply about this did not go to any of the games, as is usually the case.

I had the same thoughts. Those damn things were really shiny. I was wondering how they could be legal as picky as baseball umps are.

That being said. LSU simply got out played this weekend. I’m not incredibly worried. I think these kids need to gel.
