Just like they don’t want to solve the DACA problem, why didn’t the Democrats pass gun control legislation when they had both the House & Senate during the Obama Administration. Because they didn’t want to, and now they just talk!

110% True. They could have passed stricter gun control, but they didn't because it was unpopular. Now they want to beat Trump over the head with that same decision. They're playing politics, nothing else.

Dems had chances and didn't really care enough. The self-righteousness is apparent. It's not like any of the problems, most of them anyway, just materialized since Trump was inaugurated. They existed before and nothing was done. This isn't any different, tragic though the outcomes may be

To be correct, I am pretty sure they made a concerted effort to do so after Sandy Hook. It failed because at the end of the day, they can't get support for it.

I thought Obama tried to get some pretty significant legislation through after Sandy Hook . It passed the House but failed to get the votes in the Senate? I think calling out the Dems as do nothing on this issue is kind of b.s. because they tried under Obama and did get some reforms made under Clinton.
b/t/w I don't agree with the Dems on the issue...I can't even remember what Obama had proposed. It failed because at the end of the day Americans don't want any further encroachment on the 2nd.

Obama asked the CDC to research gun violence in this country. They did.
Democrats never tout that research. I wonder why?

He doesn't want to accomplish that, they do. They had the power to, and didn't.
