If your kid called you from school and said there was an active shooter?

Would you rather hear:
A) "Dad/Mom, there's an active shooter in the school. We're barricaded in a classroom with a teacher and we can hear gunshots in the hallway."
Or:
B) "Dad/Mom, there's an active shooter in the school. We're barricaded in a classroom with a teacher who has a gun and we can hear gunshots in the hallway."
I know no one wants hear either, but which would you rather hear?

Said it many times before, I would rather take my chances for my children with option B.

C) Dad/Mom, thanks for the shooting lessons and sneaking me the handgun. The threat has been neutralized.

"Dad/Mom, there's an active shooter in the school. He wrote out his demands, but I can't read cursive. I told you the school shouldn't have dropped it."

The only answer is B and if you say otherwise you are just pushing a political agenda.

Option A. Guns are dangerous. The teacher might accidentally shoot my child when the deranged MK ULTRA Bot storms their classroom.

B
But wasting energy on pretending that arming teachers is some solution is idiotic.

I get the point but I think a lot of teachers are unstable. Not sure if I want them having a firearm

I’d rather hear that the teacher has a gun, but we are leaving the building out of the window or egress door from the classroom. The door is barricaded and we have an exit route.

"Arm the public school teachers!" - Still PT

It actually happened to my wife about 25 years ago. Some nut case murdered several coworkers in her office building cafeteria. It was before the days of cell phones. It took me several hours to find out that she was okay. Pretty scary day.
I couldn’t imagine if it was your child in that situation.

Definitely B.
There is no reason that teachers should not be able to volunteer for firearms training and emergency response measures.

Interesting we're talking about public school teachers

BTW, it's been happening for a couple of years already in several states, with zero accidents or incidents.

It may not be the solution but it damn sure will help the problem. It sure beats making a certain gun illegal because we know how well making things illegal works.

5 downvotes and no responses from libs tells you everything you need to know about the intellectual dishonesty of libs.
