This is the ONLY answer to school shootings

Demand from government a LAW that requires multiple armed police in each school. It may even help to bridge the gap between police officers and children who would otherwise grow to hate policemen.

I’m all for more security at the schools. I would also like to see certain teachers be trained and allowed to have a gun in their classroom locked up.

The problem is, you need more than one. With only 1 armed police officer, the officer will be the shooters first target and then he will go on with the rest of his plan with no resistance.

I’m pretty sure that every school in Florida has officers on campus, at least every high school does.

Why can't you treat the schools just like a prison or courthouse? You remove everything from your pockets, go through a metal detector, have a wand waived over you, etc.

Sad, but true. Also probably time to put metal detectors in every school. I hate what this country has become. Makes me not want to have children.

People that show up to kill people walk in and start shooting, they dont get in line and have their bags checked at the door.

It's insane to think any reasonable amount of security will stop psychotics.
