I think Webre is going to be a mainstay now that he has his chance. He is just too good and too advanced as a hitter to lose his spot.

You can't convince me there isn't someone on the entire bench roster who isn't better at hitting than Beau Jordan...

I don't see any reason why Feduccia can't DH. This isn't really a prediction. It's what I would do.

SS Smith
RF Dup
CF Watson
DH Feduccia
3B Slaughter
1B Webre
LF Cabrera
C Bryce
2B Broussard

I'm trying to unpack all the negatives in this statement. But it sounds like you will never be convinced that Beau Jordan is the best hitter on the team. Which is fine, because there is no one on Earth arguing that point.

Interesting thats what you'd do without ever seeing a pitch this season

Do you know you're posting in a prediction thread? Everything people put out there is "without ever seeing a pitch" you retard. And that's my lineup this weekend. I don't think that's how it will be the majority of the year.

It's not a prediction of PM's lineup for the sole reason that Watson and Dup are switched (I could be wrong, but we've seen them hit, yes?). And I haven't seen anything about Feduccia DHing. I'd have him hit over Coomes.

It's what I would do based on things we know:

Feduccia and Coomes can't catch. Webre is crushing. Cabrera is tGOAT.

This isn't that complicated.

I'm listing specifically for opening night, Feduccia is not sitting when he's healthy enough to play without pain.

Can we add the "firsts" predictions in this thread?

1st hit -- Duplantis

1st HR - Slaughter

1st stolen base - Cabrera

1st 2b - Duplantis

1st HBP - Bryce of course.

If Feduccia and Webre are as good as advertised than Beau will have tough time staying in everyday lineup. He will still get some time.

Webre and Feduccia will hit some growing pains

Chances of Bain supplanting Broussard over the course of the weekend?

If he does, do you move him up in the order and drop someone with speed down to the nine hole?

In the scrimmage I attended Sunday night Broussard was not playing with the "starters." Hughes was.

I think the next option for the 9 hole after that would be Webre. I wouldn't want to cut down on Cabrera's ABs just to get his speed at 9. Same with Slaughter.

People are seriously overplaying that Bain comment. It's Broussard and Hughes at 2B... then Bain.
