Out of the big named parades left (Morpheus, Endymion, Thoth, Bacchus, Orpheus, Zulu, Rex) in NOLA which is your favorite and why?

Tucks. They don't take themselves too seriously and the crowd is always awesome since all the douches are on the Mid-City Route. Orpheus is my #2.

Hermes because their floats are awesome

I was going to say the ones before the "big" weekend (this weekend). Thinner crowds. Normal people who aren't as quick to fight over beads.
I guess of the big weekend parades Iris and Tucks are pretty good.

My favorite is Krewe d'etat because they roast
I am trying to find a way in
As a BR native with zero connections, I am not betting on myself

Of the major parades I probably like Endymion the best, only because I like the MidCity route.
I do like d'etat, Hermes and of course, Chewbacchus though.

OT answer: The last one, because Mardi Gras is over
My answer: Endymion
, too predictable

1. Endymion, member for 11 years. Love the Mid-City route. Ride with my Dad (26 years) and friends. The Balls are better, Orleans Ave is the greatest spot pre-parade and during for the riders.
2. Bacchus, member for 6 years. Was also a paige on the King’s float as a kid. Grandfather was one of the 12 guys to start the parade in ‘68. Classy organization. Balls aren't too much fun, but I like a Krewe that has an after party.
3. D’etat, great floats, nice weekday parade uptown.
4. Rex, because I’m usually driving a firetruck behind it, so that’s always a good time.
5. Muses/Nyx, love the ladies, not much more needs to be said.

The 2nd weekend is just so much better than the 1st as a whole but Cleopatra and King Arthur were pretty good last weekend.

Thoth tbh
Something about that classic uptown parade route on a clear warm lazy afternoon day drinking - smaller less hectic, usually only people who live in New Orleans are up about in that area at that time to watch it
