Brennan has the potential to light it up. Coach O just had a pretty good recruiting class even if it hasn’t been on par with what we’ve had lately. You can’t have top 10 recruiting classes every year. I believe he has a plan to get us back near the top. I anxiously await football season.

I am Always excited for Football

Despite my concerns about all the off field moves made, I really do love cheering on the tigers.

Yes, I am. Don't get me wrong, I think it's clear that O is taking things in the wrong direction. Big picture I'm extremely pissed and disappointed.

But when the sun finds its home in the western sky, all that needs to be forgotten for a few hours.

I'm not excited about the potential of going 6-6 on the eve of the best in state recruiting crop in 15+ years.

Always excited about watching LSU football.

Excited to see if Brennan is what we need him to be. He has a huge opportunity in front of him.

In reality our schedule is fricking brutal, and I do not think our coaching staff has the capacity to be anything better than 9-4 / 10-3 which, again, won't win us the west, get us into the playoffs, or have us in any better shape next off season than we sit right now.

This. I'm sure I'll work up excitement as the season draws near and I'll scream my lungs out at the first sound of Pre Game when Tiger Band takes the field.

But deep down I'm expecting the worst from the head coach, because anything else would be the anomaly.

I always get excited about LSU football. I will watch next season, even if the season turns into a debacle. But I am so far disappointed with Coach O's recruiting "prowess." I was expecting a lot better ranking than 15 this year.

I'll start getting excited in July or so. I'm looking forward to spring time stuff (e.g. crawfish, awesome weather, St. Pats), seeing how the basketball team finishes and how the baseball team fares far more than I am about football at this point.

Yes.
All the negativity about this recruiting class is about 2-3 DB’s we didn’t get.
Seems like we’ve loaded up on offense at every position including coaches. The part of the game everyone has rightfully been complaining about.
Let’s see what we get out of our QB’s and make intelligent criticisms after this season.

Why not?

But to answer the question—can’t wait. I want to see this team take the field with a chip on their shoulder determined to shut me and all the other doubters up. Time will tell.
