I am interested in hearing the DoJ's excuse for using the dossier in a FISA warrant. I want to hear their excuse for not informing the FISA judge that it was Democrat opposition research paid for by Hillary.
I don't know about you, but it sounds like the reason they don't want the memo released is because they're engaged in a cover-up.

Fox News' sources may just be speaking from their own opinion, where as Bloomberg's sources may be speaking from specifically what Wray told the White house.
Or Fox News may be speaking from legitimate sources, while Bloomberg is passing on opinion as fact.
Amirite?

I wonder why he really wouldn't want the memo to come out...

What's so special about Bloomberg? Michael Bloomberg is a "Never Trumper."

Yeah, this reeks of throwing shite against the wall hoping it sticks.
OP wants so desperately to believe.

quote:Correct.
But you havent read the memo?
quote:Well, this isn't entirely true.
so everything you know about it is based upon reports about it from persons familiar with the matter.
I also know.
1)Democrats tried their damndest to ensure it did NOT get released.
2.It caused McCabe to be fired(no matter what retirement spin you try)
3.Liberals are in full court press to try and knock it down before it even gets out.
Those are called cues.
But, sure. I don't know everything about it. True.
But, I do know some other things.
1. I know that a "source familiar with" is jargon for "someone who doesn't directly know".
2. I know from watching that the folks at Bloomberg fricking HATE TRUMP with a fiery passion.
As such, it is perfectly reasonable to recognize that a person who hates someone with a fiery passion is more likely to find a "person familiar......." to be credible and report without credulity.
I'm sorry. That's the price you pay when your organization OPENLY admits that it's primary purpose is to oppose the President. Rational people don't treat you like a journalist anymore.

Her sources could think it is accurate while Wray thinks it is not.
Or, and this is the more likely scenario given the media's track-record on accuracy in reporting on Trump, it could be that this new "source" is wrong.

All reports are McCabe removed him over the IG report, not the memo.
List three or four of those sources if you would so we don't think you're just blowing smoke. Thanks.

FBI Director Christopher Wray told the White House he opposes the release of a controversial, classified GOP memo alleging bias at the FBI and Justice Department because it contains inaccurate information and paints a false narrative, according to a person familiar with the matter.
It was reported that Wray offered to brief HPSCI about the memo prior to the vote, but the majority contingent declined. The transcript from the meeting is supposed to come out soon and may shed some more light on this story.

So, I think you're trying to do a fruit of the poisonous tree argument.
The fallacy in that is that we can't ask the Judge if information in the Dossier factored in his decision to approve the FISA warrant. If so, was there any other independent sources corroborating the information used from the Dossier.

I think this talking point is misguided.
There's no evidence that the media (which is a broad paint brush) has been any more inaccurate on Trump/Russia than any other major stories.
Remember how Woodward and Bernstein made big errors on Watergate reporting? People make errors, reporters are people.

No there wasn't any such corroborating evidence. That's the point. And according to people who've seen the memo, they didn't tell the judge it was Hillary oppo research. Now why wouldn't they tell the judge that?

The Democrats are claiming it is all lies now. Pelosi was asked if she had read it and she stuttered and stammered and said she knew what was in it. So I think that was a NO.
Then she said it was a threat to our national security to release classified information. She sure wasn’t saying that when Hillary actually did it according to Comey. I don’t think that the Republicans or Trump intend to cause a threat to our national security, so the precedent set by HRC means that we should be OK.

NavyTiger74 insist that this was unrelated to the IG report or the memo.

On June 9, 2003, President George W. Bush nominated Wray to be the 33rd Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Criminal Division of the Justice Department. Wray was unanimously confirmed by the Senate on September 11, 2003.[8][9][10] Wray was Assistant Attorney General from 2003 to 2005, working under Deputy Attorney General James Comey.
