I think you could have done better.

But yes, they deserve it. Team was looking like the 3rd or 4th best team in the west before Boogie went down. Can't fault them for our franchises miserable misfortune.

That's where they were headed before the injury. They looked to be a playoff lock ready to jump from the 6-9 tier to the 3-6 tier.

If Loomis isn't ready to fire them now he should tell them they've earned another year so that any trades they make aren't about saving this season.

Demps needs to go. Gentry can stand in, until the new GM tabs his guy. Then I'd like to see Gentry move to the FO in some capacity..

I think they have to prove themselves at the deadline.

Look, it sucks Boogie is out. But keeping AG/DD is a slow suicide.

Playoffs or bust. This year. If they were worth keeping, they could still make it work losing one player. As it stands, AD and Boogie would probably have netted the 6/7/8 spot. That's still unacceptable. Monty got the 8th seed and was still fired for it.

The team needs a real GM. Dell isn't it.

Everyone knows I'm all for moving on from both, but unfortunately they will both get another year.
