Surprised they aren’t getting hit along with the auto stocks today.
They're more diversified than just car parts. They also introduced a new product today.

Is the steel and aluminum tariffs going to hurt them?

Maybe. It depends on several things. 1) Do they purchase steel and aluminum from foreign countries? 2) Do the end user products (see slide 13-14 of the Feb 2018 investor presentation here for the companies that use their products) decrease in sales as a result of tariffs indirectly harming Kemet?
Of course, superficially, one might say the steel and aluminum tariffs hurt a good many stocks today.

My issue with this stock is I always buy in at the worse times. I thought I was in low at $18. Goes down to $17.12 this morning. Whenever you think you hit the bottom, it’s never the bottom.

No. The issue is you're buying and selling trying to time the market.
If you want to day trade, then do so, but don't come here and keep complaining when it bites you in the arse.

It's breaking out of its tight wedge that it had been forming. Good technical pattern.

I was just coming to bump this for YoungManOldMan

We use a TON of Kemet capacitors in our line of work. The two companies I see the most are Kemet and Vishay/Vishay Dale for resistors.

Look for resistance at the $20.80 level. If it breaks through that, then the next resistance is around $24.82 where it had a gap down.

So sell at 20. Buy back then sell again at 24?
