If this is true, not saying it isn't, then why has Surtain Sr been interviewing for multiple other jobs? Just doesn't seem to add up if it's been that long in planning.

If he has always been all LSU, I don't know why he didn't commit and sign doing the early signing period. Anything can happen during January.

Bama tried to bring in Surtain Sr. To be there secondary coach last week. He was quoted as saying that he didn't want the job if it had any bearing on what Surtain Jr. does. Look, Surtain Jr. Was a visitor last week and they rolled out the red carpet, he was hosted by Greedy Williams and had coach Raymond by him the whole time. Coming out of the visit it's been reported that Surtain Jr. is an absolute lock for LSU. Kid wants to play under Raymond and get the fast track to being an NFL star. Which he will have and end up doing at LSU. The fact Bama tried to pull a cheap one and hire his dad only to have the elder Surtain blatantly say in so many words that Jr. Ain't coming cause Sr. Gets a job there. Everyone close to any part of this knows that Surtain Jr. Is all LSU, has been essentially promised a chance to start opposite greedy which is why he hosted Jr. And the allure of playing at DBU under the best DB coach alive is too much for anyone let alone Bama to overcome. As far as popular and truth backed accounts go, Surtain and chase are both already set to come to lsu after the visit. The only actual question left is if foster the QB commits then is he our last player in. Or does a door open up somehow to take Goodrich as well. 4 players with 3 spots left and a hard cap to deal with. As long as we end up with Surtain and Joseph together then Goodrich is not as crucial. In all honesty I'm hoping for foster to come to lsu, sure up depth at qb in case someone transfers out or whatnot. Say Brennan wins the job and Narcisse books it, then Brennan totally scrubs it or gets injured. Gonna hope we took that QB then. And not just have an extra DB added to a group already littered with elite talent all over it.

On the bright side if he does go to Bama at least it will accelerate O's exit from this program.

Well, if he does go to Bama....I blame in on the state of the program, uncertainty of our HC, and our fans on this site that melt every day. I wouldn't go to Bama for nothing (hate them with a passion), but they do produce championships. But, Lsu puts better db's in the league making more $
