You would have to be an idiot to credit Obama for the economy’s recent success.

The truth is that Obama inherited a really shitty economy and growth and improvement was steady over his 8 year term, so Trump had a rolling start.

Good luck getting these psychopaths to acknowledge it.

Can you name five positives Obama initiated that spurred economic growth.

And please, for the love of God, don't include cash for clunkers.

Thanks Bush for destroying the stock market so I could make a massive profit under Obama.
And not give Meeks, Frank, pelosi, and the Dems who laughed at Bush's warnings along with Bill Clinton the credit they deserve?

You don't inherit shite when you're in the Senate while you and your party ignore Bush's warnings about the pending burst.

This is just stupid.

The media can pour any bullshite they want into the heads of the uninformed and they will gobble it up.

I would like to hear the never asked follow up question of what exactly they think obama ever did to spur economic growth.

Following ALL previous severe recessions the U.S. economy reacted by growing FASTER than average.

In Obama's eight years, the econmy grew SLOWER than average.

The GDP didn't equal 3%+ growth in any year of his two terms. That's the first time that happened under any two-term President. THE FIRST TIME!

It's why Obama and his underlings started trying to convince Americans of the "new economic normal of 2% growth."

There is a chance, barring a major terrorist attack, that in this year, 2018, the economy under Trump will see 4%+ growth from the Trump tax cuts law.

Can you explain Obama's economic policy and how it led to this growth that you are attributing to him? Thanks in advance.

In semi fairness to Bush, it was the cult of financial deregulation that created the opportunity for the overreach and the collapse under Bush. Republicans were responsible for a lot of that but Clinton was not exactly critical of abusive financial risk taking during his second term.

Obama presided over the second round of massive stimulus spending, which significantly helped fuel a straight line recovery which has continued unabated to this day.

Trump gets credit for not screwing it up over the last year. The only thing that causes concern now is the resumption of deregulation in capital industries which is what helped facilitate the collapse last time.

His administration did call for tightening federally guaranteed mortgages, which was probably a good call.
