also Miles left with a lot of talent absent in some positions.
Don't try to blame it all on Miles. Orgergon was the recruiting coordinator for Miles. If we were lacking at certain positions, the recruiting coordinator should've been working with the HC to make sure they filled those needs.

Look most have reservations about O but this post is stupid. Start judging O after the 2018 season and the 2019 recruiting class.

agree. And people need to stop with all the negativity. this can't be good for the program. After the 19 season then you have something to go by if the program is in decline or we are competitive.

OP is a miserable SOB. that's all I got from this.

The Oline and Dline were very thin at best. Some of it was Miles and some were transfers.

It’s not a narrative. Miles didn’t recruit D linemen or LB’s worth a shite at the tail end. We were consistently understaffed at those positions, the talent eval portion of recruiting those positions was garbage, and the development after they got on campus sucked too until Orgeron got here. Anyone with two eyes who knows anything about football can see that, to act like QB was Miles’ only problem just shows how clueless you are

I doubt anyone would disagree about the initial hiring of CEO. They should have expanded the search. However he is the coach and all you can do is hope he is super successful and quit being the miserable prick like many on this board.
I disliked LM from day one but I never wanted to see the program fail. Give CEO the opportunity to win and if he does not succeed next year at a high level then start the coaching change threads. Unlike many I rather keep CEO until JA is gone then make a change

Mother fricker. Decline from the dumpster fire that is The LSU Football Program?? We are 70 billion ways of fricked if you’re okay with a further decline from the severe decayed program as of Jan 18, 2018.

fool. recruiting ain't over yet. not to mention that Louisiana was way down in talent this year.
anyone believing preseason rankings is a fool.

The only thing that has regressed is your brain moron.

Seems like that would be more of the recruiting coordinator's role. Who's running the program then?
Believe it or not Mo Slo Jeaux, O can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Les had problems, no doubt. But nobody in their right mind would say he left a 'mess'
What he left, which was a lack of depth on the offensive and defensive lines and in the field goal kicking game, became very apparent after the Moo State and Troy State losses.
However, don't panic because Coach O is addressing the lack of depth on the offensive line, defensive line, and in the field goal kicking game this recruiting season. Although you lunatics will never give him credit for it.

Since when does a head coach let a recruiting coordinator make the recruiting decisions for him you moron? If he does, then that lunatic deserves to be fired. Damy you are dumb son!

You’re so full of crap. Players on The OL left because of Special Ed. The DL was fine. For some unexplained reason Special Ed thought it was great to have a player not playing for 2/3 of the year, despite the fact he had graduated already. The mental midget is damn lucky he didn’t end the careers of a few players that were forced to play 90% if the fish damn snaps.
The kickers without a ST coach, you mean?? Let’s just make the kickers coach themselves & have to deal with a rambling jackass who throws them under the bus.
Typical DP. Come on here & spread your BS narrative.

I has been the coach for one year, asshat. If we had win the Citrus Bowl, we would have been about 10 in the final rankings. Last year’s recruiting class was outstanding, and so will this year’s. Canada was a mistake and Ensminger will build a good offense. Kirby Smart was 8-5 year one and improved greatly year two. So will we.

Kirby Smart is fricking light years ahead of Special Ed. Don’t have a clue where you mouth breathers come from, but there’s no need in comparing those 2.

logan alexander and lawrence all got playing time as well.
re: O-line , dodd, teuhuma, chiki-okeke, allen all transferred out under O , and seth stewart never even made it onto campus last fall. thats a whole offensive line worth of attrition under Orgerons watch. don't put that shite on Miles.
