Sorry... I really don’t know shite about computers and am having trouble following some of your acronyms. This is what I purchased and replaced myself, which didn’t fix the problem.
I have actually been very pleased with this computer as this is the first issue I have ever had in the nearly 7 years I have owned it.
I will look into the SATA cable? to check the hard drive integrity.. there are some things I really don’t want to lose so I hope that’s not it. Then I’ll probably replace the hard drive cable once more. But rather then spend $300-$500 in repairs, I think I would rather buy a new computer with all the latest tech and hope to get another 7 good years out of it.
