Would you guys be in favor of the Saints trading for Bobby Wagner?

He will be turning 28 this year and has only missed one game in 3 years. He also showed support for Marcus on twitter account. A third round pick might get the deal done.

Hell to the yes, frick it go 3-4 D
Anzalone, Te’o, Wagner, Klein......Robertson can come in at times for fresh legs.
ETA: Yea won’t be from a 3rd round pick, and we already don’t have a 2nd rounder. I assumed he was a FA.

Sure Seattle just wants to give up one of their best defensive players
Saints trade their 1st round pick for Aaron Donald
Third round pick for Bobby Wagner
4th Round pick for Kenny Golladay
5th Round pick for Micah Hyde

Well, we've had drafts where we missed on everybody, so I'm down.

OLB in a 3-4 are pass rushing specialists so that wouldn't make sense.

Yep. Kikaha would be a prototype 3-4 olb
Most of the other pcs in the front 7 (Rankins, onyemata, cam) fit a 4-3

I know, I’m thinking getting your best 4 LBs on the field though. I agree, I wouldn’t consider Anzalone and Klein pass rush specialists

We could sign jimmy graham to like a 3 year deal and then trade him to Seattle for Wagner and their first. I’ve seen it happen before, swear

I think Cam & Okafor (assuming we re-sign him) are the only guys that could switch over to a 3-4 easily.
Rankins, Davison, & Onyemata are all 4-3 DT's. Also Klein, Robertson, Anzalone (straight up weakside 4-3 OLB), Te'o, & Stupar are basically all 4-3 LB's. I'm sure Klein, Te'o, & Robertson could play ILB in a 3-4 though.
We just don't have any 3-4 OLB's or 3-4 DT's on the roster (well, technically Kikaha is a 3-4 OLB).
