What’s the difference between DACA and Dreamers?

There’s a lot of—there’s a lot of—there’s a big difference—first of all, there’s a big difference between DACA and Dreamers, OK? Dreamers are different. And I want American kids to be Dreamers also, by the way. I want American kids to be Dreamers also. But there’s a big difference between DACA and Dreamers. And a lot of times when I was with certain Democrats they kept using the word dreamer. I said, “Please, use the word DACA.” You know it’s a totally different word.

Here’s a hint: He has, literally, no idea what either term means.

And to think, this isn’t even in the top 3 of stupid as frick things Trump has said this week!

Dreamers in the context of the bill are people who pay into DACA.
DACA isn’t a person, or group of people.
He wants American born kids to be Dreamers, because he has no idea what Dreamers means, or who Dreamers are.

Dreamers is a bullshite made up term to refer to ILLEGAL immigrants.
There ya go.
There ya go.

You’re correct, but only because your quoted statement wasn’t the least bit stupid at all
There’s unfortunately a pretty significant sense of hopelessness in a growing number of american cities. Trump’s trying to rebrand the term dreamer to include those kids coming from these broken american homes; convincing them to dream for something better is very badly need right now. Not sure why you thought this statement controversal or dimwitted

It's a trick to rob whimsical hopeful words and assign them to shitty situations for some people...robbing the use of those terms for others...
That's his point...
He's saying frick context, I don't want to use that word for people in this situation.

I concur.
DACA is just as much of a joke. It needs to be merit based.

Like everything the vile prog/DEM/MSM cabal does, it is a feel-good term used to put lipstick on a pig.
The name of the Executive Order that Obama created was Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals = DACA. Now Pelosi refers to those effected as "so-called DACA kids. They are really dreamers"
Which side has the more legitimate argument as to what term best describes them. And I am talking about the 'real' world which sane people inhabit, not that alternate universe prog filth inhabit.
Yes - any true American wants American kids to be able to dream also. We don't want them to have to robbed of their dreams so that tens of thousands of illegal aliens can sneak in their entire family and change the American culture all for the benefit of Nancy Pelosi and her filthy sycophants.
I am sick to my stomach of this 'dreamer' bullshite. Call them Illegal Aliens and get their asses out of my country. Children have always been impacted by the shite-poor decisions made by their parents. Millions of American kids are disadvantaged by the shite-poor decisions their worthless parents have made under the constant prodding of the DEMOCRAT party and that is a big enough problem for the USA to work on. We don't need to solve the problems of 3rd world countries making shite-poor decisions by further infecting our already sick society.
FUKC em all. Get their asses out. Those who have actually benefitted from their illegal residence in America need to go back to wherever theri parents are from and help that shithole to become more like America. Those who have just sucked on the DEMOCRAT teat for their entire lives need to get their asses out of here and live with their parents there.
The ONLY thing DEMOCRATS want is to impoverish America so that their goal of 'equal misery for everyone' can be achieved.

How much do they pay? What does this mean?

It costs $465 for first-time and renewal [every 2 years] applicants of DACA. The total fee includes a $380 filing fee for Form I-765 (one of the three forms that must be filed) and an $85 biometrics fee. The fee doesn't vary based on age, income, country of origin or current state of residence. It is $465 for everyone.

No - not in the least.

$465 bi-annual renewal for access to free government services, schools, etc.?!?! What a deal

Perhaps you and your buddies could fix the problem. You could start by adopting one of these sweet, innocent souls. These "children" need you.
It would only take 700k families to take the initiative and this problem magically goes away.

You just suggested that a prog actually take action that doesn't include chanting and crying. Lol
