Glad I planned on saving my energy on the finals and didn’t wake up for this one. What Fed is doing at his age is just remarkable.

Same, glad I missed last night. I'll probably wake up about 5 eastern on Sunday and see you boys back in here.

I get the feeling that Fed is feeling some pressure to win this one with so many of his biggest threats out of his way - his testiness with the chair umpires in each of the last few matches, the closed practice yesterday - makes me wonder what is going to happen if Cilic comes out very sharp Sunday. He should be well rested, and the Cilic match likely won't be a grueling match with a lot of long rallies. That said, I still expect him to win, and that is, of course, what I'm hoping for.

What happened to Chung? Is he sick?

Expected a better effort.

I expect Fed to win in Four, but wouldn't be too surprised if that was reversed and Cilic won in four.

That sucks. I was kind of pulling for the kid.

Wasn’t able to watch.

Didn't miss anything. Fed pounced on him right away and then he retired in the second set.

Answer 2 questions

Who has won a calendar grand slam 2 times?
Who has 19 Majors and 9 doubles majors?

Answer it is the same guy....

That is why I do not consider him the Greatest of All Time, he is the greatest of this generation though.

Well lets go look at the record

From 1960-1969 Laver was in a Final of a Major 29 of the 33 played,

He won the Grand Slam in 62 and 69

In the Pro Finals he was all but 1, where he lost his first pro Quarter

The record is there, now it is your decision if you want to go with it. But Laver makes the argument based of results.
