Rivalry games in CBB are more entertaining than in CFB

A hot take title, sure, but I would argue that a competitive cbb rivalry game is more entertaining to watch than a competitive cfb rivalry game and that the big East tournament was the biggest casualty of college realignment

I agree. Fans seem to have a bigger impact and obviously it's more fast pace, meaning more intense.

College basketball sucks

Duke vs North Carolina
-2 times a year, maybe 3 in ACC Tourney
Iron Bowl
-Once a year
Army/Navy
Georgia/Florida
Ohio State/Michigan
USC/Notre Dame
Alabama/LSU
Ole Miss/Mississippi State
There is a reason that there is a trophy for college football rivalries. It happens once a year.

Depends.
Do regular season games in basketball matter for the post-season?
They don’t in football.

this.
sure, Duke and UNC are big games, but they'll play up to 3 times in 8 weeks. And none of those games hinders the school's chances of a Final four or National title

I never said that cbb rivalries were bigger deals as a whole, judt that the actual games themselves provide more entertainment value

Wholeheartedly disagree.
How many times is Duke vs NC in the regular season going to determine who goes to the national championship?
Bama-Auburn
Ohio St. - Mich
Fl St. - Clemson
These games have regularly determined that

I don't think people are listening to what you're trying to say.

WCA you know you’re right but just the wrong messenger.
Basketball as a sport is more entertaining to watch because of more constant action. It holds people’s artention easier. Unlike baseball and football sometimes you want to miss a big moment so you can get 100000 differing stories of what happened.
