Players back in the 80s thought Mike Archer gave them the best chance to win. They were wrong.

Good gracious have we learned nothing in almost 40 years???????

You’re reaching big time, I never said anything about ex players, alumni, season ticket holders, etc

When it comes to coordinators & coaches, the opinions of current players mean more to me than the internet lynch mob.. that’s all I’m saying, and I don’t think that’s too much of a stretch

So you only care about 1-4 years then. You dont see past that right?

In your scenerio LSU 100% hires Hal Hunter over Nick Saban.

Why though? If I had to guess the majority of players in every single program like their coach, or else they wouldn't be there. But every coach isn't good, right?

Whether a player likes a coach or not isn't a good indicator of that coach's expertise. Players are just people, they like what's known, what's familiar. That's it.

Lol actually I very much get it.. I'm not thrilled with the hire either.. but I'm not gonna cry and complain on a msg board when he hasn't even coached a game as OC yet.. what's the point in that? Why not wait and see what happens..I mean, what else can we do?

The players also wanted Mike Archer as coach, that move was pretty unwise.

WR likes his coach.

So what? It doesn't move the needle at all.

The students went wild when their regular math teacher was sick and a substitute was called in.

Should the players have expressed their negativity? I imagine that won't help them get on the field.
