fricking disgrace the retards we have in positions of power in our state. Those dumbasses are the leadership of our schools and they couldn’t tolerate a person expressing concern. She articulated her points in a respectful manner and the police remove her then arrest her?

The people allow it to happen.

I don't know what it is, but people in small communities look at their local elected officials as if they are all powerful. And they think that being elected gives these people the right to do things that they actually do not have the power to do.

THat school board is one of the most corrupt in the state because a) vermillion parish school system is one of the wealthiest (you would never think it) and b)there’s big business leaders paying their way to power via the members of the school board ( the owner of quality companies for one)

There are quite a few parishes like this. They are not wealthy in terms of the residence, but if they have several plants and other large tax revenue streams, they are a lot richer than the people realize.

And there isn't anyone really looking over these parishes, especially on lower levels, like the school boards, etc so they do as they please.

When she reaches for a weapon or presents a real threat, which she didn’t

Bwhahahaha

She was resisting arrest. Take her to the ground. The officer was right to do so.

I commend the officer for not tazing someone in the crowd for stalking him.

No....lol.....no.

At best that was passive resistance and doesn't merit a take down.

He told her to leave, she said no and continued.

He then attempted to detain her and she fought away.

Then whatever happened out in the hall, I imagine she didn't suddenly get a case of ackright and remained just as determined to stay on the premisis.

As soon as he said that his raise wasn’t germane to the agenda, I was waiting for someone to scream “the god damn Germans ain’t got nothing to do with it!”

I see it isn't only the Superintendent who wishes there weren't opposing opinions.

True.....but I doubt she became combative.

Chances are she just fell down.......but you don't take her down that will just cause more problems and a bigger disturbance. Be smart about it.

You're going hard on the trolling in this thread with the defending clear Louisiana corruption.

Anyone know how much of a raise he's getting? Also, are there assistant superintendents and if so how many?
