Does she have a shot?
Seems like from nextdoor, Governor Abbott is popular over there, I imagine he's going to be a tough incumbent to beat.

How far away are we from Texas going blue?

Will Hispanic Catholics vote for a lesbian?

The headline is "She can win even if she loses."
Not exactly confident if they are already lowering the bar

Gay Latina Woman? That's a good chunk of superficial shite to run on.

Governor Abbott is more solid than any other Governor in this country, I see it staying that way.
The talk about Texas going blue is a bit of a reach. I’m not sure where they are getting this information beyond speculations.
Sure, some races have been close, but that is often the case. It’s doesn’t necessarily mean that a strong red state is about to turn blue.
If it happens, it will be due to the influx of Californians, and also DACA recipients and proponents.

Majority of Latinos are Catholic and will not support some lesbian for governor. Abbott has this.

Real life lesbians never look like in the movies.

Why do the democrats hate the handi-capable?

So, should I send campaign contributions to her. Does she have a fair shot in beating Abbott?

Texas will be blue soon, with corresponding taxes and anti business legislation

It's funny how the LGBT community thinks the black and Latinos will support them unconditionally because of party sides, but in reality most of them don't agree with their lifestyle based on the same reason conservatives dont.

Not a chance. Apart from Travis Co and a few border counties, Texas is as red as can be.

Our choices are a dumbfrick cripple and a Mexican lesbian
Yay

Funny thing. I have lived in DFW since 1998. I had no idea she was the Sheriff of Dallas until she retired to run for Governor.
I do not think it is her turn.
